Since graduating in fine art I've been designing and making precious jewellery
for people who see jewellery as a statement of their individuality and who
cherish the concept of wearable art

I have always been drawn to the raw beauty of nature and the interaction of Water, Earth, Fire, and…. the hammer. This drew me from Architectural studies at Melbourne University to Fine Art (1)  at Chisholm Institute/Monash University graduating with distinctions in 1985.

I have worked continuously in the creation of fine art jewellery since graduation, exhibiting and selling widely in Australia, the South Pacific and USA.

I have designed corporate giftware for the Australian Government, Symbols of Office for Dignitaries in the Pacific Islands making use of ancient custom symbols set with precious metals(2), the Australian Ballet Company (3) and the many pieces of commissioned jewellery which celebrate the stories and loves of my many clients.

After a family visit to Tasmania in 1985 I started work on a series of landscape works expressed by using to bowl shape.(4)

After winning the De-Beers Diamonds Student award (5) prior to graduation my fascination with diamonds led me to Argyle Mines then in their early stages of creating a market overseas for the coloured diamonds mined in Australia (6), and then to the South Pacific to farm and design with Black Pearls.(7)

Latterly we moved to beautiful Tasmania and now I find the inspiration for my work in the sandstone cliffs and shoreline below our home & studio.
